Good Morning,
I’m glad you are here!
Today is Friday and if you are like me, you have a busy weekend ahead. It seems there is never enough time during our work week to perform all the chores required to “Do Life” and also take needed time to rest and enjoy our families/friends.
Did you know, our hectic lives are one reason why God created church fellowship? The body of friends and family you come to know are to be a gift and blessing, from God, to you. They make life more enjoyable and bearable.
Last Wednesday night I looked at over 20 wonderful people attending Bible Study. I knew they were busy, exhausted, and pressed by life issues, but you know what else I noticed? They were filled with joy at each other’s fellowship. In between sharing God’s Word, they were exchanging phone numbers and talking and making plans for the weekend… together.
The Apostle John wrote that we have true fellowship with each other and with God. He said this fellowship helps make our joy complete. It’s obvious by looking at our church family that we love each other, we tend to one another, and we help make life more joy-filled! Tonight, some of you are helping move a family in our church, some of you are celebrating a birthday together, some of you are going to movie night, date night, or watching other people’s kids and dogs. You are doing life together and this makes life sweeter, better and easier! It is beautiful. Thank you!!!!
This weekend, let me encourage you to invest in others and receive their investment in you. In Galatians 6:2 we read, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” The law of Christ is that we love one another. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”” (John 13:34–35, ESV)
I am the most blessed pastor on earth, for I am surrounded by people who love each other and me. We do life together. We fellowship together. We encourage each other’s faith. We tend to our burdens together. The list could go on and on… In short, we demonstrate love in our fellowship.
Thank you for being a very important part of this. I look forward towards fellowship with you this weekend and will see you Sunday at 9 A.M.
Live in blessings,
Pastor Todd

Loved your message Pastor Todd it really touched my heart. Off the subject though, I was really sick this past Sunday and I’m sure you wouldn’t of wanted me there. I was wondering if all the kids were able to get to camp or are there some that still need help? Ken and I would love to sponsorer a kid that wants/needs to go. Please let me know and I’ll get you the money. Thank you for all that you do for God and for his people. We do have a great church and so many loving Christians that really do care for each other. Have a blessed week, see you soon. God bless you.

Lisa,
We will allow any youth to come to our camp with or without their funds. It is a primary goal of our fellowship to ensure all youth feel they are actively supported and loved by the folks of DVCF. We are funding the adventure from our regular tithes and offerings and as always, appreciate your support.
In His Grace,
Todd
